Test of embedding code

This blog is just a test to see whether this code that I have posted will work.

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,79,0" width="420" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://answergarden.ch/cloud.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent"/><param name="loop" value="false" /><param name="FlashVars" value="cloudid=4165&unlimited=0" /><embed src="http://answergarden.ch/cloud.swf" FlashVars="cloudid=4165&unlimited=0" wmode="transparent" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="385" loop="false"></embed></object><p><small><a href="http://answergarden.ch/4165">How could you use this in your classroom?...</a> at <a href="http://answergarden.ch">AnswerGarden.ch</a>.</small></p>

  1. Peter,

What a great picture! You are too funny!

When you figure this out, I really want to know. I have been able to embed in the Discussion Board, but not to Blogger. I wasted over an hour yesterday trying. Maybe someone out there will come to our rescue.

  2. There must be a way. I'll post it when I find it.

  3. I found it Anne! There is an HTML tab next to the Compose tab at the top right of the box when you start to post a new blog. Click on the HTML tab and the entry box will get a blue ring around it. Copy the embedding info into it and you're good. Click on the Compose tab and you will see it as a grey box that you can then move around like an image and add your text. It's the same as for adding video etc.
    Yeah!!
    Share and enjoy!

  4. Thanks for that bit of advice Peter. If I ever actually find a few seconds to think about embedding something, I'll have a place to get instructions from, and be able to do it successfully. That is, if I can find your blog again! THANKS. You do great stuff!

  5. Thanks Peter, that is great to know and just in the knick of time for my next post. Maybe I will use this as my comment post too. Blogging is a great resource. Just say help and help comes to the rescue.

  6. Thanks, Peter! I came to you from Anne's blog, and here's all the instructions clear as a bell! It's so cool to embed videos right into the middle of my blog--in fact, I like it so much I'm going to do two of them!
